If you’ve played a charr then you probably have seen the isue with backpiece related weapons – I thought this issue would be fixed already if it’s going to be fixed at all.

Its an issue related to body size. They placed the attachment node for weapons and back items based on the biggest body size possible. If you pick the “fattest” body size there’s no gap. Anything smaller and you get a gap of increasing size (depending on how thin you go). It mostly affects Charr because Charr have the widest variance in body sizes (and body size for Charr alters how large the back is a lot more than other races) but technically its something that applies to all races.

Seems like it shouldn’t be too hard to fix. Just give different body sizes a different attachment node for weapon and back item, moved in according to the size of the body itself. Armor and such obviously does get adjusted, so it should be within the technical limits of the engine to adjust for placement nodes as well I would imagine.

But I guess its not a priority or something.

I get quite a wide gap on the tubbiest female charr build available. My guess is you’d need to use the biggest male to remove the gap.

That’s really disturbing…
