Hello hello!

So i got a lvl 80 sylvari thief and a lvl 80 charr, i spend some real money and allot of gold on my Sylvari.

Now i cant deside wich one i want to play. Because Charrs are realy realy awsome looking BEASTS! But they are a bit big, i’m afraid that if i go Charr that i get killed faster. I think that people would see me faster when i pop out of stealth on my charr than on my sylvari, or am i wrong about this?

So please can tell me what you think about it, would be negative to be a charr because of his size ( i am aware of the hitbox size is always the same ) It’s just that i’m afraid to be seen faster than on my Sylvari.
I ask your guys help, i love the charr and there personallity.

Wait for the Tengu <.< Honestly, they are the next species/race we’re getting. Think about it, they have their city gate which is locked off to the rest of the world. THey have guards in front of it who joke about when it’s going to open. There’s even a small circle-ish plot of land where their city will be.

I’m waiting.

Female Charr would make a badarse thief though, if you can’t wait, as you can make them rather skinny and they have mean hairstyles and aggressive though sweet faces.

Sylvari. There are seldom few non-trench coat medium armors, and I personally think Charr look awful in trench coat armors. Sylvari can at least wear trench coats stylishly.

My main is a female charr thief. I made her as small as they go and I don’t believe that I’m targeted any more often than any others. I can understand that being one of the least played classes and being big and burly might seem like putting a target on your back, but I’d assume most wvw players are able to coordinate their attacks. Their either going to follow their commander’s leadership and zone in on a single target or group, or try and kill the thing directly in front of them, which being a thief, might be you. You’ll just have to be one step ahead of them, learn your class, but I for one know that being an aggressive cat-beast coming out of no where with a dagger in their face sends them into a fury!

One thing with the charr is I don’t actually see many. Anywhere. And never female. A few months ago, Anet released that list that showed charr were the least played classes. But that really helps differentiate me from the others and I like that. Even if people tell me to move my giant (which is as small as it can get) charr kitten lol.

Timbesword has a good point though, the trench coats and lack of nonclipping chest pieces is rather off putting. The only few that I enjoy are Eroll’s coat, the basic PvP gear that’s given to you in the Mists (I think that’s Cadecus armor too?) and the WvW armor sets that you buy with badges. It’s all up to you. Check out the sPvP storage to preview all the armor, too!

And I’m waiting for a Tengu ranger. That would be awesome.

Charr: They are bad*ss, they look cool, no matter what armor, despite what some people claim, who cares about some clipping issues, it’s just the Charr’s overly manly furr fighting it’s way out of the prison that are clothes. Overall Charr are very manly, only second to the Norn. Even female Charr are more manly than Asura or Sylvari could ever hope to be. Make the right choice, join the fight, the Legions want you!

On a related note, never make a Sylvari, to much of them are running around, they are like bad weeds, unesthetic and they pop up everywhere. Join the Charr and nuke the Pale Tree for a better, Sylvari free tomorrow.

I agree. Charr need better armor styles. I Think they need to show off more fur too. I spent so much time making my fur look just right, only to have it not show in game.
