The pistol is pointed upwards instead of straight… so does the utility belt skill for hidden pistols for Engineers.

Been like this forever doubt anet will fix it… like they ignored the horrible Ghastly bow bug.

I hope they can fix this because Anet did say it will be easier to fix it if we provide pictures.

Hmm I only ran into it while I had a kit out. If I didn’t have a kit out it fired straight.

It doesn’t for me both with and without kit..

Don’t you get it guys? Nobody expects a pistol hidden in the grip of a pistol!

Yeah, ANet’s probably not going to fix this anytime soon. It doesn’t affect gameplay at all and really, it’s not that noticeable due to the brief timeframe.

I normally get the particle effects shooting into the air with the pistols and only the bullets traveling forwards, so yours looks pretty good! Haha.

In regards to aesthetics, from what we’ve seen you could reasonably assume that development is only active for the human race, I wouldn’t expect a fix for this for years, if ever.

I’d also like to point out that if you have a kit equipped, the gunfire effect doesn’t even show up.

Been like this since a short time after game launch.

I wouldn’t get my hopes up for a fix.
