Guild Wars 2

I presume many folks with charr characters have succeeded at the “Temple of the Forgotten God” quest, at level 72.

Any pointers? I get stumped at the 2nd door: After defeating the 2nd summoned character, I deposit the “essence of illusions” at the appropriate altar, but as far as I can tell no door opens; I can’t find a way to the next stage.

Gosh, am I ever frustrated. Four or five tries, and I get the same result every time.

There is a spot in the Temple that is in an air pocket rather than water; I have not succeeded in jumping out of the water. Is that what I have to do in order to progress?
