I have a level 80 Human Thief, and level 71 Sylvari Necromancer.

Initially, I wasn’t interested in playing a Charr. I didn’t see very many of them around except in Lion’s Arch and WvW. The more I saw them, the more I began to like them.

I love the way they run. I always love seeing them because of that, I just find it adorable for some reason. I know they’re fearsome and all, but I love seeing them run on all 4’s.

Then in Lion’s Arch, I saw a few Charrs spamming /surprised. I thought it was the greatest thing ever. And lastly, a female human was sitting, and then a Charr player goes right next to her and uses /sleep (I think it was), and the Charr curled up in a ball perfectly over her. I think this is what finally broke me into wanting to play Charr.

Finally, Tybalt. Enough said.

Unfortunately, I want to use Heavy Armor so I have to choose between Warrior/Guardian… Oh well, I digress! I cannot wait to get home from work so I can create my Charr. (Uhh.. p.s.: warrior or guardian? >__>)

I’ve got both (asura war and charr guard)
Warrior has more weapons to choose from, and to me feels like it has more surivivability than the guardian, when it should be opposite. Of course, that’s probably a gameplay problem on my part.
Warrior is more about pure damage and Guardian is support/burning

Go warrior, and Blood Legion. Also choose Dinky!

But Dinky is a guardian, so… Go Guardian? ;p

Though, Guardians have multiple weapons for different purposes and ranges, they’re a “magical” class of sorts, while the warrior can use rifles and is fully physical.

imho the greatest thing about playing charr is going to queensdale or wherever and being the only charr in a group of humans/sylvari/asurans. you feel pretty gigantic.

On my charr engineer if I have a trenchcoat type armour skin, sometimes in events or WvW I notice smaller players just kind of (unintentionally I hope) disappear under there. Awkward…

Warrior all the way guardians are rare in Charr society :P
