Guild Wars 2

A week ago, my brother and his fiancée were watching “The Beauty and the Beast” the 1991 animated film. And when I saw the beast, I said: “Oh.. this looks just like the charr from GW2”.

What do you guys think?

Ha! A few days ago my guild was thinking the same exact thing.

I’m gonna go with the simplest explanation and say that similar fictional things were probably inspired by the same real world animal(s) as each other.

I’ve always wondered if the Charr don’t have their roots in Larry Niven’s Kzinti race from the “Known Space” series. The Kzinti are basically Charr in space…or, as I like to call them, Thundercats from Hell.
