Anybody care to post their medium armor wearing Charrs? Trying to get some ideas for my engineer! Thanks!

Another Engineer of the Iron Legion. I quite like this armour for an Engineer.

The only good medium armor on Charr in my opinion is cultural tier 1 or tier 2. Tier 2 armor is a little tight on the hips for some reason but still decent.

PS: Tier 3 is the most disgusting armor I ever seen.

I tried to go for a steampunk, gunslinger image, but we have to tolerate a few issues with Charr in medium armor, like our tails clipping through some overcoats.

After a while I settled with the threads in the snapshot:

• Noble mask
• Rascal shoulders
• God-temple karma coat
• CoF token gauntlets
• Studded pants
• Noble boots

I went for an assassin-like look, a whispers agent twist, on a ranger:

• Inquest mask (CoE tokens)
• Whispers shoulder (Order of Whispers)
• Inquest coat (CoE tokens)
• Whispers gloves (Order of Whispers)
• Duelist pants (Trade House)
• Duelist boots (Trade House)

Thief “assassino”

• Anonymity Hood
• Whispers Shoulder
• Inquest Coat
• Citadel of Flame Gloves
• Whispers Pants
• Citadel of Flame Boots

FJNJY….love it.

My engi (went with a frontier like look):
Temple Hat and Shoulderpads

after specifically creating a charr engineer for an Alt (might turn into main if i love him as much as my mes which is looking likley!) is great to know and see good looking medium armors as lots of people where talking about really bad clipping, its bad enough on my mes’s GS + light armor but not enough to kick up a fuss but these looks great.

Iron Legion Engineer (went for a pseudo-heavy armor look, possibly flamethrower juggernaut itself :P )

- SE helm
- Prowler shoulders (which I’m tempted to change with karma temple ones)
- SE chest
- SE gloves
- Studded leggings
- SE boots (but differences between boots on charr are actually difficult to spot anyway)

T3 cultural chestpiece. One of the only medium chestpieces in the game that doesn’t have a skirt / longcoat attached to it (the skirt is on the leggings) so you can get some pretty nice looks going if you hate that sort of coat look, just pair it with any other leggings.

Don’t try pairing the T3 leggings with a normal chestpiece, though. Double skirt go!

Currently running full t3 cultural on my thief. I love the look for medium armor. I unfortunately deleted the hood of anonymity but I would run that as my headgear instead (I will probably get it again in the near future).

Arah Chest is by far my favorite medium armor for my char. The rest is CoF (except legs those are just crafted emblazoned). Not sure if I like the colors, but too cheap to buy a bunch of dyes

Combo of Invader’s chest, Duelists gloves and T1 cultural armor.

My Iron Legion engineer! After sporting the T1 cultural look for so very long, when I’d finally built my PvE & magic find sets, I decided it was time for a rehash on her look.

I very much liked the ‘Commando’ look as well for engineers, but I didn’t wanna detract from the whole ‘improvised’ theme of the class. I love her oversized trenchcoat, particularly around her hands, as she looks like she’s wearing a coat a few sizes too big.

Second image is of her magic find set, an ‘adventurer’ type look.

I really like the looks of the vigil armor. although when I have the money I plan getting T3 cultural

I finally perfected my Charr Rangers look. All of this is transmuted skins onto my exotic armour set.

Karma medium helmet from Shelter waypoint. Looks very tribal.
Deathly Shoulderpads (the bulls ones but I suppose any of them would work)
Wranglers Coat (Tier 2 medium)
Emblazoned pants and gloves (Wranglers Coat covers them both)
Krytan skin on the boots.
Guild Backpack.
Godskull Longbow.
Pirate Sword from Lion’s Arch
Adamant Guard Greatsword
Flame Cleaver Axe

If it ever catches some attention.

I long for a chest piece that ISN’T a trench coat. Make it a shirt WITHOUT any piece of anything go down to the legs area. Then I can finally try to dress up my medium characters.
Cultural tier 3 can go rot under Jennah’s unused shoes for all I care. It’s f ugly.

Mah Fem Char Has wvw chest/shoulder/gloves. Rest is Karma gear from Orr. Plan on upgrading soon ^^

i’m pretty happy with how my thief looks

I think the Priory chest piece looks pretty nice and since it has a split up the back it doesn’t clip horribly with the tail like most medium armours (though it does have a weird seam but that isn’t too noticeable) . Gloves and boots look like kitten because I haven’t bothered getting the ones I actually want yet.

We need more medium armor options for charr. Seriously.

Okay I know this post was made a long time ago, but I was searching for a good medium armour set and found this. I freaking love it. But I have no idea where to find a lot of it, except the chestpiece as it was talked about. Anyone know where to get the rest, like the gloves and boots/leggings?

Ohh that’s what it’s from. Thanks. Been looking everywhere for those gloves. Little disapointed they don’t match tbh

I feel it too..so much.
Got a charr ranger and a thief.
Stick to 3 armor sets: cultural T1 and T2, plus the named exotic one. Earnin money for T3.
There are few other sets with no clippin issues, but so stretched on my charr that i cant look at them.

I’ll probably get something like this, though she doesn’t look all that excited about it.
Need to go “copy” the beginner engineer headpiece and I’ll be all set.

This is my Character, Metal Mechanicus. I love the cultural set for medium armor and that’s what I use on my Charr.

Your charr looks nice, I find that charr always have kitten (silly) look to their face, but yours doesn’t.
How did you make her hair blue? There wasn’t a blue option in the character screen…

The way you can make a Charr (or any character) have blue hair is that you will either need to purchase a full transformation kit or the hair kit through the Black Lion Company. Blues and purples are new additions with these kits.

Mask and Shoulder from Tier 1 Cultural, in first 2 pics, Heritage coat from HoM rewards, Order of Whispers gloves and Heritage pants and boots (Since I don’t see too much difference with any other kind of medium boots or pants for Charr )
(In case you can’t access HoM rewards) In the third pic, she wears Tier 2 Cultural coat, in addition to the same other pieces as before.
