I’m having trouble choosing between the sire choices (Loyal Soldier, Sorcerous Shaman, Honorless Gladium).

So, I was wondering, if you played two or all three of them, which one did you think was the most interesting/fun?

Also, I’ll be playing Iron Legion Engineer, so maybe one of those “fits” better than the others.

Definitely the Honorless Gladium storyline. The Sorcerous Shaman is ok and the Loyal One is just boring. The Gladium Sire has lots of personality.

I swung a sword. I swung a sword again. I swung a sword again—-hey hey that’s great!

Agreed. Honorless Gladium is really well made, I particularly loved the conclusion.

If you do go with that one though, just… don’t expect it to ever explain itself. I’ve done it twice now and taken either option, and they basically spend the whole time hinting at things you can never actually find out. So if you liked the tail end of Lost it should be fine…

Also, they seem to have literally forgotten to add anything to it which explains your rise in rank by the time of the next segment (where you meet the Orders). Not that it makes a huge difference, but it seemed a bit weird.

Honorless Gladium is a poignant and challenging story, because your sire has a good heart but extremely poor judgement. I preferred Sorcerous Shaman because it offers some degree of redemption, but that’s just personal taste.

Loyal Soldier offers a bit of comedy but that’s about it – you’re not going to get too much personality out of a treasure hunt when it has to be over in a handful of steps.
