Most unique Charrs you've seen?
Best advice I can give you is to go into an overflow server (LA) and check out all the charr you see. BUT, pay close attention to their horns. That’s the biggest variability you’re gonna see. If you want uniqueness, go for horns and length of them that aren’t often chosen. For example, I saw one charr that chose the horns that look cut off and then he had them at the shortest length possible. I’ve never seen another individual like that since.
Pick a fur color and pattern that’s not common. No whites, no blacks. As far as the armor goes, your tail will at least show it and some armors show some of your fur.
Hair color will also make a difference. I’ve seen someone recently with an almost neon blue color. Unfortunately, I think that comes with the 350 gem character redo item of the BLT, but that was very unusual.
Next I would’ve suggested going the short, skinny build, but I’ve seen a bunch of those lately so just go with what you like there.
That’s all I can think of off the top of my head.

One thing to remember is if you make your Charr the max size it can feel very slow.
So if your going for size try and pick a class that has good speed buffs. It’s not that big of a deal but you will notice it. Even more so if you play a Asura or a tiny human. Some people are put off by the way it feels like your moving in slow motion.
White, Black and Orange are pretty common. Sadly there’s no real patch options. I wanted to make my cat who is orange with a white underside. But the best I could do was all white with patches on the paws and face.
That’s my only let down with the Charr the lack of fur options and patterns. Well that and we only have 4 sets of armor that were properly designed for Charr. Cultural and CoF.
Ermm…… that would be 2 sets, unless you mean the types of armor, which in that case would be 6 sets of armor (2 x Light, Medium, Heavy).
I think I can help XD. I was bored one day and took a survey of all the male and female charr pictures on these forums, to figure out which options were the most commonly used and which ones were the least commonly used. My results:
Male Charr:
-The most common faces were the one with the nose ring & bloodied teeth, and the last one that looks kind of like Rytlock. In fact, almost every male charr character has one of those two, so if you’re going for unique, avoid those.
-The most rare faces are the chubby fluffy one (the first I think), and the one with the severe underbite and scrunched nose. In particular, the face with the underbite is rare—I have never seen a player use it to date.
-In terms of horns, the black forward pointing ones and the dark brown wavy ones are super common, followed by the white ones that curve up.
-The three rarest horn sets are the chopped off ones that have metal at the end, the stunted tiny ones, and the horizontal bull horns.
-People like skinny bodies and huge horns—so they give males a slender figure and max-sized horns. More muscular bodies and smaller horns are less common.
Female:
-All the hornsets are pretty well-used here—although I’d say those with decoration aren’t as common as the simple ones. People tend to like smaller horns. Max-sized ones aren’t as common.
-People LOVE the three cute kitten faces—the housecat-looking one, the cheetah one, and the one with the pink nose are painfully common. The tiger face at the end is also well-liked.
-The most rare face is definitely the mean one with an underbite. Personally, I love this face—it’s very unique. If you’re going female, give it a try!
-Similar to males, people like skinny bodies on females. However, they’re even more overused on the female—probably because it gives them that lithe assassin look. So if you want an unusual charr, select one of the heavier frames.
-Lastly, white charr are overused. WAY overused. There’s a white charr epidemic! Black charr with red eyes are also pretty common.
This is an intressting thread.
The way i see it. People tend to pick these Faces/Colors
Because they like the look. I’d never pick some of the available
faces Because they dont speak to me, and i wouldnt want to
run around and look almost pink, or something else, because i dont think it looks
Good!
Some pretty interesting stats for your server Weindrasi.
I think I know why a lot of people are choosing the skinny build. It’s because of clipping. The clipping isn’t so bad on them whereas it’s pretty bad on anything heavier/muscluar looking. Personally, I don’t think it’s a big deal, but that’s me. /shrug

Makes sense—clipping in this game is a pain. The results are partially based on server observation, but the specifics are from the “post your charr screenshot” thread.
This is my Charr Engie alt, he isn’t great looking but he’s pretty unique.
Later today I’ll post my 3 charr. I’m trying to give them a unique feel.
hehe i know how u feel, i too like to give my charrs a uniquestyle. this is the one i made on my guardian by combining dungeon sets with cultural and lions store skins

Good look. Sorry I haven’t added mine yet, had issues when I got home. Lol my warrior is my favorite by far, but my ranger is alright too now for not being 80. A mix of cultural, dungeon, and gem store to try and make him as “steam punk” as possible. Im still not satisfied with his colors, but I’ll get to it someday.
Wow guys, Thanks! These are all great tips and definitely will help. I am probably going to make a male, I think with light armor but that hasn’t been decided yet. Definitely like all the looks on here and haven’t seen any that look like them. I LOVE the your charr ele @Henge, it looks really really great! Keep the posts coming it’s nice to see everyone’s “unique” charrs. ^^

I’m pretty new here, but I’ve just made a thief charr as my main PJ, with the idea of making him something like a “human tiger”. I don’t like horns at all, so I put them as small as I could, and I chose no hair either. The face is very common (the one with the nose ring and the bloody fangs) but i changed it a little to look more like a tiger. Of course, the skin is yellow with tiger strapes. I took one of the smaller bodies, as the big ones did not fit with my idea of a Charr thief.
I don’t know if it’s very unique or not, because for the moment all the Charrs pj iv’e seen are black or white, and the npcs are usually too big and ugly for me, but for me he looks great!
Here’s mine. I’ve yet to see or run into any other charr with a similar look or the firey theme this one puts out(He’s Ex-Flame as well)
Redgen Furyblaze – Charr Guardian – [SHD]Shade Warband – Tarnished Coast
Lerious Warhowl – Charr Warrior – [SHD] Shade Warband – Tarnished Coast
Here’s my Charr warrior.
And my Ranger
And my Ele
is the third time i see ele/necro/mes charr toons without a visible chestpiece, is there actually a skin like that? a way to hide it without removeing it? or you just removed it for the SS?
I took it off for the screenshot unfortunately. He’s level 13 now
The closest to revealing chest piece you can get for a charr is heavy “named” armor, and medium T3
I tried to get away from the common look myself. My first one was going for a hyena look.
Sergant sprinkles will teach you about style :P.
I’m yet to find a similar charr as he looks so friendly, though due to his colour scheme I’m sure there are a few. Light armour is good for looking serious or silly, as most of it is very stretched on charr.
Different skin combinations also help eg, tiger stripes are more popular than inverse colour tiger stripes- see my very young guardian. Dark browns are rarely used in colour schemes to.
I suffer from albino charr syndrome with my others, just as the white colour goes with most types of armour.
Though even the npcs suffer from looking too similar. :P

I haven’t seen anyone even remotely looking like me. Especially on the face, prefered a more.. disgruntled look, rather than scary.
My attempt of making a charr that looks and acts different: Fuzzy Flame.
