I worried that new armor

and yea, knowing how most of armor sets fit charr its very likely that this one will look bad too.

With barely any old sets fitting Charr, the newest sets STILL not fitting Charr and no word from ANet on this issue at all, it’s pretty safe to say these new armors will look terrible on Charr.

Charr cultural doesn’t even fit the race it’s designed for… Light Cultural T3 (check that tail clipping)

Data mining of the game seems to suggest the new armor is not going to be full sets, but rather just gloves, helmets, and shoulders. At least those are the only pieces that have icons in the game right now (the icons are in, the models aren’t, so no preview codes or anything yet). Even the screenshots shown only show those 3 pieces (the other 3 pieces of the fire armor are CoF armor in that screen).

Of course, they could add the icons for the other pieces later, or it could just be a case where they add some parts now and other parts later (start with those 3 pieces on Tuesday, and then a month later add the other 3 to make full sets or something).

But IF the sets are just those 3 pieces and if they don’t add others later, the only piece that will really be a problem for Charr characters is the helmet. Maybe the shoulders depending on how bulky they are.

If any piece will mismatch it will 100% be the helms. We know this from all the other ill-fitting helms in the game. We may just luck out on the shoulders though, so we’ll see. Luckily my favorites out of all my charr are my necros and the necro facepaints look amazing on charr. Better than any other race imo.
