Somehow dyeing the heavy cultural tier 3 from Charr is a nightmare.

(pic 1)
Used same orange color, turns into different colors.
-shoulders are darker
-pants are darker
-chest is much lighter
-and somehow the head part is always very light compared to any other armor item

(pic 2)
Another example, used Heirloom dye on all (red) parts.. somehow the head is very light

(Pic 3)
And what I annoy the most is the cloth part from chest and pants, somehow its always VERY light… I am using Abyss here and its more gray on it..

Pls make the cloth parts darker and make the plate parts less different in colors.
(maby remove some weird black on it.. some parts look more dirty compared to others but this turns dyeing into a nightmare)

The problem you’re experiencing is that cloth and metal do not dye exactly the same. They are different materials with different reflective properties. The head armor matches the chest armor. The pants cloth matches the shoulder cloth.

Can’t be fixed. It’s how the materials are processed, cloth dyed the same color as metal will look different because they reflect light differently in the game. The only choice you have is to pick a different dye that approximates the color of the dye you are trying to match.

why is abyss on all light (cloth) armor pure black and on these 2 cloth parts it turns gray.

And the head part (heavy armor) is much more lighter compared to chest heavy or any other heavy part.

Not only do certain materials (metal, cloth, leather) accept dye colors differently, but different armors that seem to be using the same “material” sometimes accept dyes differently. The leather bits on my Viper armor are much darker than the leather bits on my Charr T3 cultural medium armor, for example, which means I can’t use the exact same dye on both sets because it’ll be too dark on the Viper set.

I kind of like it, personally. Sure, there’s something to be said for uniformity, being able to pick up a dye and know exactly what it’ll look like on every possible armor set. That would certainly have its own advantages. But the current method gives different armors their own “character” so to speak. Its kind of fun to grab a new armor and run through your dyes seeing how each one looks and finding the perfect choice.
