Playing through the personal story has shown me a number of non-player characters that have pinkish fur, and a few others that have green manes (see: some Flame Legion).

Why aren’t these an option for player characters? I’m sure adding these could open up some atrocious color combinations, but surely nothing any worse than what’s already available.

If someone wants to make an ugly character, they’ll also have countless dyes to do so with already anyway. So, let us have the fun furs? Please?

Well we already get pink armor, so why not pink fur!

Funny, I was just about to start a thread about this!
I saw a Charr with pink fur and mane in the (Blood?) story and I immediately got excited and logged out to roll a crazy pink engineer Charr girl.

Turns out we only get to choose orangey colors for our Charr. Not a pink or cooler red tone among them.

I really hope they bring in barbers with more hair (and fur!) colors and styles later on.

Yeah, we are horribly limited in this regard and it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Why wouldn’t they allow us to do this? I mean, if they’re going to let us dye our armour, they might as well let us synergise with it.

By limiting the amount of fur colours, they’re also really limiting the amount of dyes that the player will want. Thus limiting their own shop sales on dyes. I feel I already have all the dyes I want due to the lack of fur colours.

It’s sensible, really. I mean, when you consider how large charr heads are, you see a lot of their fur set against their armour, unlike other races.

We were a bit conned, customisation-wise.

Here’s a picture for those who haven’t seen any these pink charr (she seemed to be a mesmer, too, so I’m even more jealous). The colors aren’t at all garish, so I’m not sure why they weren’t included in the character creation.

Oh wow. I could totally go for a pink, tiger, mesmer Charr.

We should raise a campaign to have Character Makeover packages available. And more color options for Charr fur!

I have noticed that many Asura NPCs have very bright eye colours that are not available in the CC, similar to these pink-green fur for Charr.

Yeah after I saw this guy I tried to make a pink Charr. Not possible at the moment. His “name” is Suspicious Charr and that killed me.

Maybe it’s the use of evil flame legion magic that turns your fur pink?
