nice kitty with flower!! 8/10
Here is my very first mix. (the one I posted before is the third set) Enjoy!!
What armor did you mix together? looks awesome! 9/10
8/10. Set looks great, but it looks like a char cosplaying R2D2, don’t know if that’s intended.
Here’s my thief, Byornen. Nothing too complex or hard to find, I just wanted to look ok while I run through Tyria murdering things:
nice but the headpiece aint really my style~ 8/10
Some good sets so far. I might have to borrow that shoulder mix for my engineer, VeeVy.
I decided to swap out the gloves and boots from the heritage set, once I saw that the archon set didn’t clip with the heritage pieces. Thought about swapping the pants since the tail doesn’t clip with that set, but the colors clashed. Not so bad with the gloves and boots.
@Sharkey: I’m not generally a fan of the ‘refined’ Charr look, but you’ve made it work with a great colour scheme! 9/10
@Lifeson: That’s a fairly minimal setup, which works fine, but I find it a little boring given the options available. 5/10 from me.
Here’s my own Charr Engi, with a couple of cultural pieces mixed with AC armor and the F&F fused gauntlets. The Dye? Charred of course!
I’ve been trying to go for blacksmith/‘forged’ look (the gauntlets go well with the Predator rifle I think.)
(edited by Diremongoose.1326)
@Diremongoose 8/10 I like how the armor has that put together vibe about. Pretty much she just found something and said, “oh mine.” and slapped it on her armor.
These are my two armor sets I run around with on my main. One on the left is his support set for Fractals, dungeons, and/or group content. Naturally the right one is my full out berserk set when the only thing that matters is offensive.
not that much of a fan of crafted exotic medium armor, also don’t like much your color choice, looks like too plain. 4/10 sorry to be harsh but really didn’t like it
Here is mine, medium armor, priory coat and gloves, t2 pants and boots, invader’s shoulders.
(edited by Canguro.5768)
@Canguro
I’d give that maybe 7/10 I guess?
- While the color choice you used makes you look unique and standing out, that blue and red mix is a little bit weird… (-1 point)
- Not exactly your fault, you lack a good looking helmet! >_< (-1 point)
- I think there are better and cooler looking gloves out there for you to mix into your set~ (-1 point)
So yeah haha…well, here’s my own:
I’m trying to get that medium’s-always-trench-coat feel off a bit, and have my Engineer’s look leaning more toward like a heavy class
There isn’t really good and fitting hat, so I just used a mask that I think looks best with it, and I really gotta love that guild rifle with the shining blade attached to it XD
Anyone got any good looking Charr Rangers? Ive been having trouble finding armour that suits the class / suits the Charr race. So far I am just rocking the CoF set which looks okay but I want something more Ranger like
For a Ranger, your armor is ok, love the shade of green.
I agree there a few Ranger-like armors.
I wouldn’t go with a cof armor though, otherwise that would make you a Ranger for volcanic fields :P
Overall 7/10
Here’s my Guardian with complete look
Here’s my Guardian with complete look
9/10
You know what? I’ve been wondering how best to get that chest piece to fit on my Guardian, I think you’ve done a great job with matching it to the armour and a nice colour scheme. However I think the Plated boots are a bit too heavy looking for the rest of the set, makes it almost look like you’re boots are the heaviest part of your suit of armour. Being able to show of that fur pattern is great, that’s another great thing that adds to your look.
My Mesmer’s new armourset. I initially didn’t think I could ever get that new radiant vambraces to fit with anything, let alone light armour, but I think I did an alright job at it.
i say 5/10, but we all have to start somewhere

Thanks, next time I’ll post some naked picture to show the color matching done on the skin and hair too
Anyway, I’m yet to find a good matching pair of boots. The shoulders are so wide that normal boots (aka t3 cultural) looks even tinier in comparison.
For now I’ve got them to balance the figure with the upper part, but I wonder if the Order of Whispers boots could go well (I’ve seen some of them and it’s the only one I see fitting for now)

uhm, the color scheme is almost good, but the figure is not good to look at, it gives a slight impression of unbalanced. You should try with different tones, lighter or darker.
For the armor, I would get rid of these shoulders: they look way too savage to be combined with something as detailed as a coat.
Overall 4/10

Yes, that is a bit of a dilemma, there are plenty of large shoulders, but actually very few options for large-ish boots to help balance the look. I would suggest taking a look at the HotW boots, they are one of the larger sized skins, but a little more sleek than the Plated boots.
And yes, you should post your nudes somewhere lol.
Since the 2 above didn’t post a picture, I won’t rate what’s already been rated.
Here’s my Mesmer
Really nice mostly, though I would think that you’re a necro, not a mesmer lol. Love the face and the chest/legs. Gauntlets look a bit off with the rest of the armor, though. And the pauldrons… ugh, though it’s not your fault. Charr pauldrons mostly suck due to levitation. 7/10.
Here’s my Charr Guardian. I tried to give her a Priory Look because I like Staff the best, hence the blueness. (Oh, and Ebonhawke staff is sexy.) I usually have the Southsun Sclerite shell on, but took it off for these shots because while I like tentacles, they clash horribly with my look lol.
(edited by Farran.3607)
The colour in the first picture is rather off, but I love your following 2 pictures. The radiant gloves work well for a guardian and the entire armor goes well with her fur pattern. 8/10
Here’s my female warrior Charr. She’s steampunk themed and even though I have a couple of setups I’ll showcase this one as I find it fits best under her nickname “Master Carver”. Her name is Katsumi Bittersteel, from the Blood Legion Steel warband. Changed her name to Bitter steel after she saw most of her warband slaughtered in the assault against Barradin.
Very nice, the simple metallic color scheme looks great – in the second picture it looks like a bored bionic butcher “Meh, more… work.” 9/10
Here’s my mesmer – mix of T3 (helm), T2 (pants+shoes), rest Vigil. I liked the “blindfold + eyes elsewhere” theme :P
Not bad, could use something on the head though, as it looks rather plain. 8.5/10?
My Charr Engie seen below.
i posted this on the guard forum aswell but this seems a better place. cof arms and shoulders nightmare chest t2 legs t1 feet helm is obvious
like the armor but the color needs work 6/10
(edited by pelto.7345)
I like the colors, but the dragon helm, like so many others, doesn’t work on charr 8/10 though because the rest is awesome.
Khorgash Irongear, Iron Legion Engineer.
(edited by TheTurkey.8439)
I have no real complaints about your Engineer, I like the scheme you’ve got going. I personally would have chosen a darker blue (especially for gloves), or mixed it up with two different shades of blue, but that’s just me. ;) 8/10
Here is my Warrior, Rayze Emberfury.
The dye scheme is Midnight Ice, Pyre, and Black Cherry.
Armor is T3 with Heritage Warboots… I’ve played with a lot of different combinations but I really prefer this the most.
(edited by Kazera.3162)
I LOVE the dyes you have, Kazera. I especially like the yellow parts, it’s really rich and warm. You look good in Zephyr Sanctum !
Here’s a couple screens of my Charr, Lore Steelbane.
Armor:
Helm: Unshown (’cause I like having horns…. and ears…. and hair… and dignity.)
Pauldrons: Fanatic’s (starter set)
Chest: Primeval (gem store)
Greaves: Primeval (gem store, no clipping issues on primeval pants!)
Gauntlets: Temples
Shoes: Temples
Back: Nothing looks good
Dyes: Starry Night/Silver, Daffodil for the symbols on the pauldrons
(edited by Miyth.6857)
Can’t say I’m a fan of the starter shoulders, other than that, really like the dyes
8/10 since I’m very much anti spikes on armor
Here’s my ele

8/10. I like the way the vigil shoulders interact with whatever chestpiece that is, and I like the colors. However, I don’t think the leggings fit. They don’t match the chestpiece very well.
Here is my necromancer, Sarter Singefur.
5/10 I am not too versed with light Armour for charr, but mask is definitely B A D butt (It replaced the word with Kitten lol). But seems like you just started.
Here is my Charr Warrior.
(edited by Cody.2718)
The look is good. Simple, but nice. My only gripe with it is that it lacks character, but that can come through minor changes to the overall armor layout. A fancy hat, or special gloves or chest, etc.
6/10
Been a while since I last showed off my Charr thief. He’s back, with a fresh new look. As soon as I get Zap, Bolt will be in his possession, and to celebrate that eventuality, a new look was called for.
Parts used:
Determination Headband
Magitech Chest
HotW Legs and Shoulder
CoE Gloves
Charr T3 Boots
Dyes used:
Brook
Abyss
Celestial
Black
Mithril
Blue Sky
Super great look! Pistols are awesome, color is fantastic, armor scheme is original: 8.75/10
Here’s my Flamethrower Engie:
Noble? Helm
Aetherblade Shoulders
Aetherblade Tunic
Molten Gloves
….forgot the pants but eh, you can’t really see them
Aetherblade or pirate boots…forgot again
Apricot dyes for the metal
Mocha and a lighter brown for the leather
I’d say 3/10…absolutely not my taste, the gloves dont really fit the rest… But the gears on core somehow fit to engineer.

Not a fan of the wings. At all. It looks funky on any Charr, IMO, and, worse, doesn’t really work with your color scheme. That said, ignoring the wings, the set looks good. A non-spike encrusted heavy Charr. My only armor gripe, backpiece aside, is the color you chose for the gloves. I imagine you did that to attempt to bring the back piece into line with the rest of the set, but it doesn’t really work. Not for me, anyways. In my opinion, it would look better hidden, or replaced with either a quiver or capacitor.
Overall, I would give it a 7/10. It’s close to looking good (to me, as it is subjective), but not quite there yet.
What pistol is that =o
Aetherized pistols. The sight pops up, and they revolve and steam when unsheathed.
I did some minor updates to my character that change the look enough to warrant another post. Swapped the Svanir shoulderpad out with Noble Shoulderpads and tweaked the colors so they are compatible with both Fractal weapons and Bolt – the latter of which I am still just one precursor away from obtaining. >_<
look pretty cool , but I don’t why most of the coats look short on charr, overall look cool 9/10
there are my two charr warrior and engineer, my engineer have two armor based on different build
Crap! forgot to rate you.
Can’t see how you look all that well, but
Warrior 7/10. To human!
First engineer 8/10. Gunslinger love
Second 9/10. Would run away from in terror.
Left is current, right is eventual.
IRON LEGION STRONG
(edited by Namica.2951)
7/10 I love the first one but i’ve always hated that hat in the second >..<
Pleased to present the newly acquired armor of Cadov Blazeherald, Engineer of the Iron Legion
Upgraded (via transmutation) Eagle Eye Monocle
Flame Legion Shoulders
Rawhide Chest from alot of work in WvW
Flame Legion Arms
Updated Rascal pants
Upgraded Rascal Shoes (always liked the look of the rascal pants and shoes above most others)
(edited by Vodac.9742)
8/10 and the 2 missing points its just because I personaly dislike persistent special effects on armor and weapons (the fire in this case) the 8 points pretty much sums up what I like in your armor, simple, realistic and well matched colors
This is my warrior, and this armor’s objective, besides trying to look good, is to honor the role play around my character.
as it stands:
Mithril dye: the bones of my enemies
Blood dye: honors my warband’s death and represents my legion (blood)
Graphite: well just metal
8/10 I really like the combination you did with the armor. Look pretty awesome!
This is my guardian, Nylah Adamant. Full tier 3 atm, with Juggernaut gear look. To bad t3 cultural shoulders doesnt look that good on my female charr.
8/10 I really really like the color combination of the fur and armor. Nice job.

10/10
You really nailed the whole ‘mystic’ look. Very nice, like it a lot.
My Iron Legion Mufasa Onyxclaw in the armor set I was going to use on my Guardian, at least until I found that I preferred my Warrior. XD
5/10… Charr T3 cultural, the helmet is a crime, looks like a Digimon. I dont get why so many like it. The dark colored legs dont fit to the bright chest in my opinion.
My warrior, armor update. (Dyes are Midnight Ice and Midnight Fire)
5/10
The weapon doesnt fit with your armor. Wrong colors, wrong style…
And only flame gloves ? Should add more flame / blast armor pieces or pick no one at all. Need some work
Good head btw
What’s your opinion for that mix ?

I like that he has an almost futuristic look—kind of aetherblade-ish. The light orange combined with the metallic colors is also spot on. However, his shoulder armor floats ridiculously high on his shoulders (Not your fault—almost no shoulders look good on charr). Minus the shoulders, I’d have probably given an 8/10. That greatsword, while cool-looking, also bugs me because I know from experience how badly that clips with his bottom and tail. (But again, not your fault).
I recently changed the entire look of one of my warriors, Raigra Gorebutcher. In the story I have in my head, she starts out this none-too-bright Blood Legion brute who serves her evil-minded Centurion with near-slavish devotion. Her barbaric-looking armor set reflected that. But the Centurion ultimately betrays her, and leaves her bereft of purpose. I haven’t decided where she’ll go, but her new armor means to reflect how her life has utterly changed. Plus it just looks cool.

4/10… Here is what I subtracted on: no shoulder armor (you should have some form of pauldron on that armor since you’re a heavy armor wearer). There is no weapon visible (I’ll bump my score up a bit depending on what it is if you re-submit a new picture showing it). And, finally the mask…. just no to the mask. You’re supposed to be a heavy armor wearer, not a mesmer wannabe.
The 4 points are for the colors and the armor overall. They look fantastic together. I had a similar color scheme on my Charr heavy armor but got made fun of as looking like Iron Man.

Its bright, a “sight” on my Charr. But ye, that doesnt rlly fit… Any recommendation?
Look closely, its 3 COF parts: Shoulder, Glove, Shoes. The pants is quest reward from Timberline Falls, the chest is barbarian (I guess). Hidden helmet is 80 exo crafted.
My kitten engi! even tho I barely play him..
My kitten engi! even tho I barely play him..
I’d have to go 7/10
My issues are the mask which imo doesn’t look right on a Charr’s head, the box on your right arm looks odd and i think you could do with better looking leggings
Anyway, here’s my Charr elementalist (blood legion). Wearing T1 helm, chest, gloves and boots, T2 shoulders and legs. I’m not too happy with the legs tbh but its murder trying to find ones without any clipping.
9/10.
The armor is good, but I’m weird about the coloring. I know how tough it is to find good light armor.
This is my Ash Legion charr necromancer. The armor is pretty basic, the top I got in a Story Quest and those are Masquerade pants. I also am sporting tier 2 shoulders like you.
If you want goodlooking light armor I’d suggest this: Shadow armor with t3 head.
