I don’t have any Charr characters but was thinking of making a charr necro. Problem is, I’m a little hesitant because of the way light armor looks on them. Can any of you tip me over the edge by showing me how amazing your charr necro looks? Thank!

Every time I see this armor in character creation, I get this little voice in the back of my head that screams ‘MAKE A CHARR NECRO NOW’

I already have a Sylvari necro at 80 though. :<

Only quip is that it doesn’t conform to the Charr tail, unlike pretty much every other Charr cultural. The tail simply pokes through.

trying to find some better pants to go with this. i did get the scythe though.

I like how infinitely evil that Catcrafter’s Charr necro looks. Did you even look at that? That’s some pretty solid proof to me at least.

My tip: Play what you wanna play and don’t listen to anyone who’d tell you differently. Looks may matter here, but the quality of play is not going to differ much between necros that are on even numbers. Its mostly how you as a player approach it.

I’m more fond of the headpiece than the rest of it, really, but so far I haven’t found much else that’s made me happy. It’s about time for a recolor though.

This is Lothyr Scareclaw. He is a charr necromancer and, as you can see, the sexiest thing in all of Tyria.
Sounds funny, but that is just how it is.
(To be fair, most light armor looks a bit strange on charr, but when they do rock an armor they rock it rock-hard.)

My Charr Necro ‘Roteater’

This is my necro. I’ll probably be replacing the chest and leggings with noble armor once I get around to doing CM.

Charr Necro armor often has the problem the body/legs and feet look bland while the helms/shoulders and gloves look great.

You really need to mix and match to get that perfect look if you dont like the sets.

I personaly like Khilbrons/Cultural T3 kinda bondage effect. Reminds me of the Qunari mages from Dragon Age.

Someone sent me a private message wanting to know the dyes and armor sets am using but being the dumas I am I deleted the message. Hopefully that someone will return to this tread.
Mask is skull mask from character creation
Shoulders and legs are from Twilight Arbor dungeon
Body and gloves are from Arah dungeon
Boots are from Citadel of flame
Dyes are midnight ice and blood

I like the gloves a lot, and also the shoulders as well, what armor are those? Charrs really look best with big shoulder armors, makes them look more kitten!

It’s been great seeing so many more pics of other charr necros!

My armor is: Necro Skull Mask, Shadow shoulders and gloves (craftable, but I got mine from karma vendors… in fields of ruin I think, but it might have been gendarran), Sorrow’s Embrace chest and boots, Vigil legs.

not at home atm but my necro is 80 wearing CoF and Arah armor. with the CoF chest you can’t really see legs and boots+CoF gloves and Arah helm with shoulders hidden looks awesome and perfectly fits the image I have for my necro

Went with the normally unpopular T3 look myself but hey I like it, and of course my favorite staff model. Charr necromancers =best.

I have some updates on my necro, and a new addition to the charr necro family. I decided rather than completely remake my current one for a build that goes in the opposite direction of what I normally play…why not make another charr necro, can never have too many hehe. (He’s the very last one, the first two are the same necro but different gear for my 2 builds I run on her)

Chest, pants, and I think gloves as well are from SE. Shoulder’s are T2 cultural armor… the archon set.

Very nice. I durp’d that one, I wear the same shoulders and didn’t even realize it and now that I look more closely at the rest I see the crystal pices from the SE armor. It makes for a nice combo though. Gj.

Starter mask, SE legs/chest, HotW gloves, Tribal Shoulders/Boots (T2 I think?).
I’ve had this for a few months, and I really like it. The best part is that whenever I get bored of it, I can just swap starter masks and re-dye it, and it looks completely different.

Whisper armor looks pretty decent if you don’t mind the tail clipping much. Opinion on the helmet differs.
I plan to switch up to a couple Arah pieces once I start running it.

I love the starter mask on a charr, that’s why I made my necro a charr.

Here’s my Char, took me a while mixing armors to get an undead look.. VERY happy with this set. Sorry don’t know how to take UI out of the screen shots :P

Chest ( Orrian Arah Dungeon )
