Hello everyone. This is for the devs mostly and the others annoyed by the greatsword factor.

Is it only me or the GS in the back (when not in combat) of the charr is way off.
In my belief it should be slight more higher. It seems to low and it looks ridiculous. I noticed that human males have the same problem.

I find it so ugly that i practically cant equip one unless it has way better stats then other weaps i currently have.

Is it the same for every GS in game?
Is this a bug ?
Does it annoy others?
Is there a plan to fix this?

I hate GS as a weapon altogether. Every class with the exception of mesmer that uses a GS has boring liner skills and everyone uses a GS so I get so sick of seeing them, so it’s not an issue for me :-P

i hate that as a male charr, when i have my greatsword drawn, my legs are placed such that my front leg always clips my leg armor. always.

no problem with any other weapons…just the silly GS

Honestly, if you can deal with the silly animation of Hundred Blades on a Charr, I don’t see why the little detail of where it hangs on your back is such a big deal.

I’d simply not use greatsword on a Charr. They look better with axes anyway.

Iron Legion Charr with a Greatsaw! It is perfect and I will never stop!

Personally I like the way it sits on my back/shoulder. The spikes of my armor’s back don’t get obscured this way and I like seeing them.

On Charr ive found only Guardian and Mesmer work for Greatsword animation wise.

Try a Hammer instead, for a change of pace.

But dat dps…hehehe.

Maybe I’m in the minority but I actually like most Charr greatsword animations. They tend to clip the tail when they’re sitting on their back but that happens with a lot of longer weapons.
