Guild Wars 2

As from what I know, the end-game in Guild Wars 2 is about vanity.
Dungeon / crafted weapons/ armor are just reskins of the most dull weapon of the same type (Twilight vs any random exotic greatsword for example), only more flashy or whatever you call it.

For the charr, every single armor out there either covers my horns. clips with my tail or is pure unrecognizable. The only nice armor set I found for my charr warrior was the T3 cultural, which cost 119 gold.

And apparently some weapons have clipping issues on the back due to the hunchback nature of charr. I tried equipping the mad moon to see some part of the moon just blended into the back of mine.

If there are only limited weapons and armor sets to choose from that doesn’t give us issues, why would anyone bother creating a charr anyways?

Because not everyone is willing to accept that as a limitation?

Im wearing T1 cultural, i didnt appreciate it till i put it on. Sure, i murder myself when my Charr idle animation plays, but think about it.

Some centaur charges me, i can brace myself and impale him on my shoulder. Its a shoulder mounted spear wall.

I do actually like quite a lot of the armor on Charr, tail clipping doesnt really bother me that much. I played Tauren for 5 years, maybe im used to tails inexplicably poking through clothes.

Endgame is the entire game. From level 1 to level 80 and beyond.

People should just realize that by now, please.

Vanity is just vanity.

Yeah, “endgame” isn’t just about collecting items, like it is in WoW – get max level asap, and keep raiding to get every possible gear pieces untill next patch, when you go farm another set.

When you enter a low level area, your level gets scaled down. You can complete missing heart quests, events, explore map, and the most important – know the lore. If you read Ghosts of Ascalon, lore exploring becomes even more interesting, especially in Fields of Ruin. It took me over 6 hours of gameplay to fully explore this single arena on a map, and I am not talking about discovering vistas, and points of intrests. Tbh, I am not even sure if I explored everything.

Now, look at map how many other places, even more rich in lore are worth exploring.

Well I agree with OP when I first learned that the Charrs was a playable race in GW2 I got so exited, I loved the charr culture in GW1 and even more so in GW2, so the first thing I did during the head start was creating a charr warrior and begin my journey to 80.
However one I got to max level and began collecting some armor, I quickly found out that most armour pieces looks terrible on charrs, except T3 and some pieces from T2 and T1. I did love T1 so much when I first saw it, until I bought the whole set and put it on my charr for some stupid reason the helm is to far up, so you can see his throat and the part of the helm in the neck is higher than the chest piece, it looks really weird and badly designed, after that I started to hate my charr, I don’t want to spend 200H+ to get a lvl 80 with full exotic that I can’t stand looking at.
So I re rolled a Human Guardian, at least now I can wear whatever armor I like.

i took challenge of completing every jumping puzzle with my charr since it is somewhat challenging on all fours and big character. feelings pretty rewarding after completing any.

Im goin for the legendary hammer.

On top of everything else, the world completion needed is a pretty big endgame for me lol
