First: In you opinions, should I wait for this scavenger hunt to get my precursor? Dusk is super expensive but at the same time it could be an indefinite amount of time before its implemented.

Second: Should I sell Twilight when i make it? The amount made off selling a legendary is enough gold for me to make 2 more just buying mats. Skill points and Karma being the only issue.

Just looking for opinions to help me decide.

Yes and no. Wait for scavenger hunt. As for selling it, just don’t. It takes away the whole feeling of achievement from earning it. If you plan to just sell it, there is also a chance it may not be bought. Safer just making it for yourself.

It’s up to you. Really. If your time worth more than your money then just buy Dusk and make your Twilight. It’s my case actually. If you are ready to wait for weeks or probably months for SH then ok, you can wait. But keep in mind that ANet isn’t going to make precursor easier to get. Thay just want you to feel the progress. So SH most likely will be hard enough to complete. It will probably take weeks or even months to get your precursor via SH.

Again it’s up to you. Selling legendary on TP is expensive (due to listing fee) and a big risk in general. Not many ppl are able to buy item for few k gold. Also you can always be trolled by other ppl who can portentially sell their legendary for 1 less gold price.

1.) Wait for scavenger hunt if you’re not desperate

2.) No, do not sell it. While a ton of gold looks nice, you need to keep an eye on the posting fee. And if someone undercuts you, you’ll have a tough time selling it.
There will be other people thinking just like you and will be posting and undercutting their legendary on the outpost.

And even though there is a good supply of legendaries on the market, there is even fewer buyers.

Unless you plan to massively underprice your legendary, you will have a hard time selling unless you’re lucky.

Great points as far as selling it goes. Made up my mind there. Gold is nice but running around with a Twilight is better. Plus the thought of putting it up for a fair price then some one under cutting me by 1g is a horrible thought.

I wish Anet would give us a better feel for a time frame or even some hints in if these patches will even include the SH.

I have a few more weeks of farming for the last 25 lodestones and 150 of T6 mats for gift of magic. Hopefully something will come into light by then.

So far, every single legendary on sale was sold and resold, am i wrong?
Right 5 days ago a buddy of mine sold his juggernaut for 2500g after 2 hours.
