2 Questions - pardon my dumbness

I been searching forums, web sites wiki and the like and can’t find anything so I ask my dumb questions here.

Leatherworker: (I have a level 500 weaponsmith and a level 500 huntsman and have crafted 4 ascended weapons so far). Have level 400 in all other crafts.

Q1. Where do you get Crystalline Ore?

Q2, Do you have to be level 450 to do anything?

As far as I have seen Crytalline Ore didn´t come with the patch and also is not needed for ascended armor-crafting.

And lvl 450 for armor-crafting is pretty much the same as in weapon-crafting: you can refine ascended mats from 450 on.
