475+ Artifice - What am I crafting?

I hadnt made any exotic staves, just focuses and scepters. So I made 5 or so of those and it bumped me quickly to 500.
Just seems silly that your Ascended Level stuff greys out before exotic stuff. Confused my small brains. It also cost me a little bit in the extra wood and ori I hadnt counted for! Ouch!

Might have to refine the newer materials just added.
I haven’t done it yet, so I am not sure though.
If you are referring to:
- Bloodstone Dust
- Dragonite Ore
- Empyreal Fragment
- Glob of Elder Spirit Essence
- Lump of Mithrillium
- Deldrimor Steel
- Spiritwood Plank
All these new ascended recipes have gone from Pink to Grey, indicating they give no experience?

I am at work currently, but I would imagine they are gray because there is a timer on refining ascended stuff right?

no, the exotics grey out… the refinements are what you do from 450-500 (err 475 if you milk it like OP)… the rest of the way is the timer refinements, which is what he needs to do

So when the timer runs out, it will turn back pink?
This makes no sense as people are already at 500. Which would be impossible if it required the once a day recipes!
