So with this new update for Legendaries will we finally be seeing them becoming account-bound on use?
I’m seriously hoping that they will, but seeing no mention in the content page I feel like they won’t be. I know Anet has said that they will be making them ABoU quite awhile ago.
I hope Anet does this soon for Legendaries, because I would love to be able to move some of mine around to show them off on other characters that I have.

Wouldn’t that make them account bound permanently? You can sell an item that hasn’t been soulbounded, but upon equipping it becomes soulbound. I’ve yet to see an item that upon equipping becomes account bound, so I wonder how they’ll go about that.

Being account bound on craft would be the best thing to happen in a long time.

I wouldn’t be surprised that the crafted precursors become account bound as well.

Didn’t they datamined something about an item in gemstore that will be able to split transmutated items? That also might make them account bound again or maybe even sellable. Just saying.

Karka shell accessory and Toymakers back item are examples of account-bound items which stay account-bound even after equipping. It would be easy to implement on a Legendary. I have no problem with them not being account-bound before equipping, if people want to craft legendaries and then sell them I’m fine with that. Account-bound once equipped would be amazing. Some characters get orphaned in favour of other classes, and it’s a shame when a character equipped with a legendary isn’t even being used anymore.

Yeah non transmuted fractal weapons function in the same respect.

My issue is that I cannot bring myself to play any alts because my main has Sunrise. I feel like time spent playing other characters is wasting the effort I put into it. I would like to play with Sunrise on my other characters. I have 2 other 80s and they can both use it. (Guard/Mesmer).

I have the exact same problem! Just that i have incinerator on necro, but i would like to play my thief

Just hope the mat`s/crafting isn`t another time gated piece of crap.
Anyone with a leg end is safe, but the bonus to stats will be noticable against weapons equipped on players that aren`t leg ends, something that I`m sure they said wouldn`t happen.

There will be non legendary ascended weapons that will be significantly easier to get Fishbait, I wouldn’t worry all that much.

By the way, that is a bit off topic…
