I was merrily leveling crafting (leatherworking in this case) for the first time using one of those nice efficient guides, when I decided to do some minor “optimizing” in the order in which I did stuff to try to maybe save a few ingredients, since I had had a couple of critical successes that put my level above where the guide said it should be. Not sure what I did, but at the end I found myself at level 441 instead of the 450 I should be.. and now I am not sure what to do to get the last 9 levels without breaking the bank.

Can someone more experienced suggest something? Basically I’ve discovered everything on here already ankitten ot sure what else I need to do: http://www.gw2crafts.net/leatherworking_400.html

Thanks.

Edit: Maybe discovering superior runes.. going to try that.

Discover the givers legs as it seems you havent done so yet.
Then start with discovering clerics armor (you need to get the recipe for the exotic isignia from the master crafter), as Totems are the cheapest t6 mat.
Or start putting in buy orders for the cheapest insignias on the tp, then discover armor with them. That way you save some coin compared to crafting the insignia yourself.

Thanks. I did one superior rune and it gave me hardly any XP. :/

I was actually going to try the cleric’s armor next but couldn’t figure out where the recipe was, thanks for the tip there.

I do have a fair bit of stuff hoarded as I’ve played for months and saved everything so hopefully I can get through this. But man.. I can’t even imagine how awful this would be without a guide given how much I messed this up in one small way!

Okay, mercifully the cleric discovery items gave me several levels each so this only ended up costing me a few gold. And I’ve learned an important lesson for next time.

Thanks for your help!
