so, i just finish crafting the kamohoali on my mesmer, and i just want to let you guys know that the special effect aka. the ghost shark attack only works with #2, and it only happens with a 30-50% chance… while on warrior, it works for their #1 and #5, plus the throwing skill throws a mini shark instead…
god my heart is crushed…
hopefully they’ll add the special effect for #1 on mesmer…

Well that stinks.. I wonder why they would do that to the mesmers

Maybe it isn’t the profession it’s the type of attack or the action used for the attack.

might be bugged (hopefully), but that warrior on youtube was using his regular attack #1 (Stab and Jab) and the shark keeps coming up at 1:3 ratio and my #1 is Stab and Jab as well, but the shark won’t show up
except for #2 (Feigned Surge) which is quite hard to control and sometimes the shark won’t show up at all…

Observing the video, it seems that the shark animation only appears every time you land a critical attack. It may possibly work differently for other classes, but see if the animation appears when you land a critical attack.

nope, i tried with critical and still no shark
i thought it has to be at night like Kraitkin, but still no shark attack :/

You are not the master class hence you can’t have the best animations.
