A long list of Orichalcum Locations
Thanks most kindly for your work on this – I’m sure these guides will lead me to some more nodes I haven’t yet found!
Bookmarked both pages
You helped my competition. Gee, thanks.

Except for the ore locations aren’t the same on every server at the same time. And that link is missing quite a few common locations as well.
Ori ore locations will change every server reset, but will continue to respawn every 24h in the same location (when daily resets) until the next reset. This location information you have for particular nodes are good only for your server and only until next reset.

You’re partially right and wrong at the same time, besides that, that wasn’t the point of this thread I think. Those spawn locations are common for every server. However, as you said, each server reset the spawn locations are different per server.
Or, all servers share all the same spawn locations for orichalcum ore. It’s just they randomized per server/reset.
Whichever is easier to understand.

I just dont see why people want to give away their work.
Give away their work?

I am trying to compile a huge list of all the locations I have come across. There are hundreds of different locations for it to spawn and I know I can never give everyone “Here is where it is now” type of information but I can give people “areas you should check when servers come back up”.
On that note, I added a ton more locations to my website!
I manage the node page on oblhq.com. I’ve been thinking of doing something similar. But instead of cutting up the map, I figured just putting the nodes on one big map might be better.
I was going to combine the previous weeks of nodemaps we have, add nodemaps from other servers to it and have a master list of possible node locations.
But that requires time and effort. Too lazy to do it myself.
Also, from the looks of it, they can spawn anywhere. Frostgorge is predictable in that it never spawns in the bottom right quad of the map (so far) but cursed shore and malchors leap have stuff spawn all over the place.
I added two more pages to my website for this guide which include maps of the entire zones that have Orichalcum/Ancient Wood Logs in them. These pages are for people who prefer not looking at the small individual pictures for each location but instead want to view an entire map with all of the locations on it. So far I only have completed Malchor’s Leap and Cursed Shore maps but I will finish Frostgorge within a few minutes.
Again not all locations are listed on these maps since I do not know them all but i will be updating each page as I discover any new locations

you, sir, are the BAWZ. thanks for your ongoing work(i’ve used your previous guides from some time ago)
You’re welcome above poster that I can’t quote!
I hope these maps come in handy for some people out there, I also hope there aren’t too many areas that I missed. I am fairly certain only Frostgorge has Orichalcum I don’t know about, sometimes I struggle to find both in that zone! (Although it seems like on my server one always prefers Starry Skies Waypoint or the path leading up to it)!
Excellent work, thank you, I was going to do this for myself but you beat me to it : )

Some people want to “give away their work” because they don’t care about their individual profit as much as they care about improving the experience of others.

What he said. Plus it’s just a game and these days people are cut throat in these types of games, willing to completely ruin another player’s experience in order to improve their own.
If i improve someone else’s play experience I always hope that maybe they can pass it along to someone else. I remember how games like Asheron’s Call and Everquest were 10 years ago, rarely did people complain and if they did it wasn’t as horrible as it is today.
Call me nostalgic but i am just trying to recapture some of those community elements.
Thank you for posting the guide!
Thanks for making the community a better place too.
I added a video which goes over each of these locations incase you would prefer to use that over my website’s maps/pictures. Here is a link to the video:

Also added one for Ancient Wood Logs too incase you’d prefer to view information about those as well.
as neoxide said, use orrmaps.com. Easy to use and people can pull it up in 10 seconds and select your name to see where the nodes are. It even lists servers and you can choose which map you want to use based on how many locations it has and how many likes it has.

personally I use http://signspot.wordpress.com/ page. it is updated every server reset and is very reliable. Someone is doing great work there.

Orrmaps looks decent, although it’s very laggy on my browser, I can’t imagine how much more laggy it would be for someone with a worse internet connection.
Yeah it can be laggy sometimes, I find it works best with Chrome.

More people mine ori -> ori gets cheaper -> less profitable to mine ori (though expensive stuff needing ori probably drops in value too) → less people mine ori… etcetera, etcetera.
Yeah I think I’ll survive the ‘competition’ somehow. It’s not like everyone doesn’t ask/tell the locations in /map anyway.
I use chrome too.
It seemed to be a lot less laggy when I gave it about 30 seconds to load up as long as I didn’t try to scroll in a lot.
Although whenever I clicked over to my server it was showing node locations literally everywhere. I’d assume it is player-updated so someone on Darkhaven was probably just being a jerk and messing with the map
+1000 internets to you, tyvm
Never use the server map, it contains an overlay of all the users that have a map on that server, with the more popular ones having the nodes highlighted. Go to map list and select an individual user’s map and there will only be the nodes that user has found.

How do I know that the user found all of the available Ori nodes and/or it’s accurately displaying where they are at the time?
Seems easier to just ask in map =X
Well there are 5 nodes in CS and ML, and 2 in FG, so you can see if they have them all. And if you find one in the right spot chances are the rest are correct as well. Just use the most recently updated map that has the most points. Make sure to like the map if it’s correct!

I added a few more locations to my guides, it seems more and more infrequent though that they spawn in locations I don’t already have covered.
If anyone finds any in locations I don’t have listed i would love to hear that information. It’s my desire to make my guides as accurate as possible.
