I have a question when have greatswords become account bound? and It has been transmuted. I cant remember how I got this but I noticed it now?

and would I be able to transmute it to my Volcanus to be account bound?

Transmuting items makes them account bound (or soulbound).

They only become account bound if, when transmuted, the target stats of the new item chosen are not soulbound. If, for instance, you wanted to keep Volcanus’s stats, it would stay soulbound. If you chose the blue items stats, however, it would become account bound.

If I Transmute volcanus to the account bound weapon is that easiest way to transfer the weapon to an salt character and for it to keep the name volcanus?

And then re-transmute it with a berserker exotic stat weapon which should make It soulbound to the new character?

Can this be done, but I still want to keep the name..
