Leader of Business Class [BC]
Another precursor thread..
Leader of Business Class [BC]
It would be nice to hear about non-RNG methods for precursors. I made a suggestion a week or so ago to add them to laurel vendor (cost TBD). Anyway, something deterministic is probably too much to wish for.

That’s your update. Only 11 days old, can’t be asking for daily updates :P You won’t be given true progress anyways because it’ll prematurely force market shifts on the precursors. John Smith (economist guy) said it’d “shock” the markets so they won’t be giving the info on a potential release date.

I find it hard to comprehend why people complain so much about the precursor price.
I remember somewhere in here a thread aching over being a 75%er or whatever. Yet they fail to see that they have managed to gather 400G+ (variable depending on number of clover tries) for the gift of fortune, if I sold all of my GoF mats I would have a little over 460G, enough for my precursor. Yet people complain about saving up a large sum at once? In some cases like those making the gift of light have to spend roughly 400G twice, but complain about the other 450 for Dawn? Sure it is a bit outrageous to have to save up the much coin for a 3rd time, but certainly they have proved twice already that it is within their limit.

FYI – Dawn was 600g the other day. It varies, but it’s not always 450g.
Also people are not saving 460g for a gift of fortune. They are working there ends off gathering up the materials. Yeah they could sell for 460, but then they’d have to farm them again. That’s the whole point.
I think the precursor would easier to swallow if it wasn’t RNG where the experience of obtaining it varies from player to player. Some players get it easy with a few tries of the MF, others incur significant costs because they weren’t lucky with the RNG. That’s a bitter pill.
