Guild Wars 2

I’ve made one for my elementalist and it’s cool looking, but I thought maybe I could find something like a “of the mists” dagger or something a little different, but so far I’ve been unable to come up with anything.

Destroyer dagger looks kinda lame in my opinion. Are there any other cool dagger skins that have a glow effect to them besides the legendary / corrupt / ascalon weapons?

dont know about glowing ones, but personally i think the orrian travelers dagger looks imba, its rather big so looks almost like a small “dual-edged” sword.. dualwield those and you look kitten

I’ve currently made x2 Tears of Grenth for my D/D ele, not bad, but it’s definitely a rare skin that very few have.

Yeah, I was hoping there would be daggers with particle effects too. I don’t really want to hold icicles… Dagger skins are so limited right now. Why do greatswords get all of the particle effects? I know daggers are smaller… so maybe make the particle effect a little bigger to make it show up better.

I guess there is also the possibility that they haven’t been discovered yet, but… I’ve tried a few of the same combos as greatswords, but using dagger parts and it doesn’t work :-(

Yes its pretty sad. ATM i run AC daggers with Blood Sigils to get 25 stacks of power.
2 Corrupted for P/T/V Stats. 2 CoF with Berserker stats. 2 Verdant (leafy daggers, look bigger than normal) with C/P/V, lastly i want to get 2 more daggers for my magic find set but im still looking at what skins to get. Might get Ebonhawke ones.

I don’t know why people hate on Tears of Grenth. They are cool and very few people have the skin. It would be nice if they had some sort of effect though. One think I like about the daggers is that they are hard to see from range, so people can’t discern what I am.

The Pact skin has to be one of my favorite dagger skins right now. Doesn’t really have any effects, but the light does seem to glow thats on the blade. You can get the skin pretty cheap right now on TP.

Im using two Mystic Spikes, the skins are nice and simple.

I’m using Maelfacterym on my necro as offhand. Looks very nice. I’m sure you can pick one up on tp for a few gold.

The only issue I have with the pact dagger is it’s so tiny. If it was slightly bigger I would use it. But you can’t really see all the cool details on it like you can on the sword. Kind of a let down in my opinion.

That’s honestly the problem with a lot of the daggers, they’re just so small it’s really hard to see most of them. The corrupted / orian ones are the best size.

I like the destroyer dagger. The way the handle curves over on itself and the heat effect on it. Its a personal preference, but I dont like weapons with obnoxious effects. Just slight ones. The destroyer daggers have a great design, so the effect is just slight enough to not be annoying.
