Guild Wars 2

I tried searching but couldn’t find anything (unless I was doing it wrong, entirely possible). Does anyone know if the Shadow of Grenth and the Light of Dwayna are upgradeable in the Forge like the other ascended back items?

I also checked the wiki, it doesn’t say on the main page for the items and the discussion section is inconclusive.

They are not (yet), there are already some topics about that, but no one knows why, and Anet didn’t communicate about that.

I hope the developers pick up on this. I am in the process of crafting Light of Dwayna but would be disappointed if I had to craft another ascended back item specifically for fractals.

Bleh. Thanks, guys. I hope they do something about it too. I’m significantly less interested now, as expensive as it’ll be to put together.

Do these new back items have stats or are they just skins?

You have to choose the stats at first use, if I’m not wrong.
