Guild Wars 2

Hi,

Some guides tell you to craft with Wood and Metal and craft foci and staves etc. Others tell you to craft with cooking ingredients and craft potions etc.

What would you recommend?

Anyone? (15 chars)

I dont like chef because it’s so complicated.
others like it because it’s complicated.
all professions have spots where profits can be made. for maximum profits, craft all the professions!
what are you trying to get out of crafting? (what guides?)

Well, I’m just trying to level it. I’m trying to get to max level, and I guess I could just see what mats I have on hand, and if I can make potions, then fine, otherwise make staves etc.

Just wondered if people had used either method and found one to be much easier or more efficient than the other.

BTW Mystic, I think you mis-understood the question. Artificers can use cooking mats to make potions. I wasn’t asking about Chef vs Artificer, I was talking about ways to level up Artificing.

This, they calculate the cheapest option go for from 1-500 and even generate a shopping list per tier. The calculations don’t include sell-back in their calculations, so it’s not the cheapest, but the closest you’ll get to it guide-wise.
