Only information I know as of right now is:
The quiver may be random or may not. This is still unknown.
To create Quiver of a Thousand Arrows you need 240 philosopher stones (people said 40 crystals work as well?) 250 Vicious Claw, 50 Glob of Ectoplasm, and 1 Vial of Mists Essence.

Will update when more information has been gathered.

Now to be clear the 1 Vial of Mists Essence is the same as 1 Vial of Condensed Mists Essence? Cause I got one on my very first run through.
And also any idea what else can be made with that vial so far?

There are a couple more backpieces/quivers that have being discovered. I believe the vial of mist essence and condensed are the same.

Philo. stones make quiver, crystals make books. quivers have offensive slots, books defensive.

Too bad it’s going to be 50-80 gold per piece. Kinda harsh for non-cosmetic gear.

In a way i’m glad, it costs 5 gold for the rare guild backpiece, so it will be a bit more for the Exotic backpiece (when we can buy them) and a lot more for an Ascended backpiece.

They did say the Ascended gear was to go between the Exotic and Legendary in terms of how hard/much it costs to get them.

Very nice! The icon inside the Fractals of the Mists merchant for the back pieces looks different than the quiver and the book. Wondering if it is a different skin?

Well the ones inside the fractals for 1350 tokens is Exotic, not Ascended, so will probably look different as the Ascended ones. Wonder what it looks like though

I wish, if there was any type of regular full sized cape piece that would be my top priority, too bad that cloak looking armors and what not are very scarce because of the mental amount of clipping in GW2.

The price stinks, but i’ll have to get one for the fact that its a quiver!

I got my quiver today, very happy with it

I do wonder, if quivers are the offensive backslots and books are the defensive, what about classses that do not use a bow? mesmer/engineer/guardian elementalist and necro, they can be built to be offensive, but may not want quivers, whats for them looks wise?

vial of powerful blood, 250 of it would be 80g indeed. The rabid version is like 12g only, most versions are cheap, just berseker is expensive.

Basically the item is just like your trinket without the jewel added. So it has the extra stats like you have a jewel in your trinket . So its listed twice because those are all the stats its giving you.
