I think OP is getting at the ascended Quiver/Tome and the corresponding Fractal Capacitor that had the Wayfarer prefix became possible to double-click and change stats for after the patch, so now you could switch to an all-stat backpiece if you had one.
They were all crafted in the MF, except the Fractal Capacitor that you bought in FotM – BUT you had to stick that one in MF too if you wanted to upgrade it from exotic to ascended.

I also regret not making rings and accessories, so I could have six offensive infusion slots or six defensive infusion slots. Save money on filling them with fine infusions whenever I get around to it.
