Like more and more mentioned, there is no way to craft ascended Giver stats and probably no Winter stats for jewel crafting later.
I thought it will be possible this wintersday when we can collect snowflakes.
The argue that we shouldnt use snowflakes to craft ascended things when its only able at a specific time could be solved with an ice block node for our home instances where we can pic snowflakes.
So why we cant craft this cool stat combinations? It could be Tixx´armor and weapon set?
Here is my idea why: Will we be able to craft boon and condi Duration Infusions when jewelcrafting is up to 500?
I think that would be a nice idea with infusions with*1%/2% or maybe 3% Durations.
What do u think? Any ideas which infusions could be implemented too?
Boon and Condition Duration is capped at 100%.
You can already stack up to 168% Boon Duration in total, wasting 68%.
I dont see a point why you would want to stack to 174%.
and what is with the Players who likes to have any boon Duration plus?

Those Players can put Platinum Doubloons on their trinkets, giving 4% Boon Duration each per trinket
and when they dont like to they can put infusions into ascended weapons and ascended armor without loosing effects of runes and sigils

To be honest, i halfway expected them as well to introduce Recipes with givers stats for winters day.
We got additional asc recipes with the Nightmare Living Story but with Winters Day, we didnt get anything new to craft. But then again, WD is a seasonal event, not Living Story.
One reason might be that they just didnt have the time to put new content like this into the update, and another reason might be that they didnt want to unbalance the game too much.
Boon and Condi Duration are 2 powerful stats and making it easier available could overpower some builds.
It was speculated that celestial gear will get boon duration added, when magic find was removed but i think they didnt add it due to balance reasons.

a full ascended armor has 6 defensive Slots, on trinkets maybe 3 more (I think the most use offensive maybe?) or just say 10.
Then it would be 10% or 20% boon Duration (i see 3% per Infusion could be too strong there u are right).
So i think that is still okay when u know how Durations Trigger on boons and conditions.
Condition Duration could be difficult to handle, lets say a full ascended Player has 5 offensive Slots active, then it would be 5 or 10% condition duration plus.
I just try to see the Balance in WvW, there is no Need to talk about Balance in PvE, thats useless. Maybe with a Duration cap on infusions that anet decides how high it is is okay Wanze?
