Will we see crafted ascended items? Will we see the WvW and Karma Vendors get ascended items too?

Actually it’ll be the 15th we find out :/ but I am hoping for crafted ascended as I do not really like running fractals :/

The patch notes are up, and nothing is stated about ascended crafting. Though you can now upgrade regular ascended rings to infused. Though I would guess this costs 250 ectos plus some skill points and/or fractal relics, just like upgrading the backpiece.

Hmmm, i tried to put my ascended ring into the MF. It did not accept my ectos. But it did allow me to put in the vials and globs of mist together. Haven’t actually executed the recipe but I don’t think ectos are need this time =)

I can confirm none of ectos, philosopher’s stones, crystals or obsidian shards are in the last slot. So either shard of mists or gift of ascension would be my guess.

Ring + Vials x5 + Globs (mists) x3 + Shard x1?

I suppose that’s good to know in regards to upgrading a non-infused into an infused version.

How about crafting the quivers or books? Do they still need 250 of a T6 material to make them?

yes, why no mystic items upgrade for the back? 250 ecto is crazy expensive.
