If crafting will be going to 500 as A-net has stated — at which point crafting professions will earn access to ascended level recipies — what do you think we can expect for cooking? Do you think there’s a possibility we’ll be able to craft something like god waffles (omg…so fluffay!), or will more recipes simply be introduced?

I don’t know, but if Cooking uses the same time-gated, account bound ingredients… I doubt I’ll be bothering too much with high level food. I already tend to use the tier of food just below the highest tier because the prices are too exorbitant for a 30 minute buff. :/

I hope so, it sounds cool. That would be one more thing for the record speed runners to use.

My guess would be that each profession can craft ingredients that are needed to craft ascended items. I dont think that ascended armor/weapons will be crafted by the corresponding professions but in the mystic forge.

Certainly an interesting question and concept, but what new (and obviously better) buffs are they going to generate?
