Im sure its been asked before but Is there anyway to break down ascended mats to lesser mats? Or any conversion I can do with them, outside of crafting to 500? I simply don’t care to craft but I would to do something productive with all of these stacks.

Also do you guys thing they will remove the account bound tag after the ascended armor is released?

Out of curiosity, what mats do you want to break down? All of them? Or just the Bloodstone that’s more common than roaches in a cheap hotel?

Personally I have a good amount of Dragonstone but not enough that I would want to break any down and scrounging Empyreal Fragments is the first time the game has really started to become unpleasant in the grind for me (mostly because getting them by WvW is too unreliable and open world chests makes the game feel like one is playing a boring solo game rather than working with groups).

You cannot break down t7 mats into lesser mats.

Doubtful they will take off the Account bound tag if they haven’t already. They probably would have mentioned it already if they were going to.

If I were you, I would just save the stuff. It didn’t cost you anything to get the mats and you never know when you might want to craft something with them, or anet adds additional uses for the mats. They all stay stored in your collectible tabs anyway so they don’t use bank space.
