So… when every piece of equipment has ascended versions, what are crafting disciplines good for?

Are they going to revamp the tiers? Introduce 50 more levels and a new tier of materials? I’m about o max 2 crafting disciplines but I’m not sure if it’s worth it with Ascended coming. Jewelry is already screwed.

Well you can’t make a Legendary without two maxed crafting professions…

Plus, you can make exotics with crafting professions. Which have their own appearance, and are almost as good as Ascended.
