So i’m getting close to being able to craft my first ascended weapon and I was looking at the laurel vendor Now i’ve already bought the dowl i’m going to need… Do ascended weapons not use discoveries? Do you just buy the recipe and craft it?

You need to buy the recipe for the dowel and for the weapon.
