Hey guys, I have been playing GW2 for a while but I never focused on crafting, with the ascended armor becoming more commen I feel like I need to invest now. The main question I have is simply how much gold would it take to level one craft from 0-500, I know it will very depending on server but I’m just looking for an overall average.

Also how long did it take you to gather the mats for your ascended gear, what’s the best way to farm?

Armorcrafting:
1-400: 19g
400-450: 16g
450-500: 70g

70g is for 400-500, not 450-500.
And normal guides are cheaper.

Just one additional clarification: the cost does not depend on server, the economy is global.

Maybe he was doing reference to the WvW bonus about crafting, if you get more xp crit, it cost less, but I don’t think it makes a huge difference
