Hi,
How to turn Badges of Honor into gold or resources?
Thanks.

Best I know so far is to buy Rams from Siege master during Season when prices up:
then you can get 3-4 silvers for 6 badges.
or 30-40 for 60
or 3-4 gold for every 600 badges.

I took it a step further one time:
superior flame ram currently costs 14s50c
normal flame ram currently sells for 1s50c (1.27 after tax)
so it takes 11.4 normal to get one superior
11.4 × 6 = 68.5 badges to buy superior flame ram

Anyone done the math on promoting to Superior Siege in the Mystic Flusher?

I know it costs an SP so this is likely not very lucrative (compared to other methods to turn SP into gold).

all of the promotions are currently profitable (if you buy normal siege using buy orders and sell superior with sell listings), but they only give about 7-10s/SP in profit. omega golem is currently the highest profit at 44s each (14s/SP)

hehehe I did this by myself once. it was glorious. it was on that cliff above the workshop (not directly above the workshop; across the gap near the gate). I saw them trying to break the gate down, so I had a bit of time to prepare. They couldn’t actually touch me. I just kept firing while they first streamed through the gate, then killed the champ, then while they were standing there trying to get credit for capturing the workshop. It actually helped that it was a huge zerg – they would rez the dead players, so I’d get more kills from the rezzers and the rezzees. 30-some kills in 2 minutes. When they left, I left. A few min later after we retook out keep back I checked the spot, and they had destroyed my AC

I posted some stuff about EotM sieging in a topic on the wvw forums (check my post history if interested).

There are actually some quite nice bottlenecks (narrow paths) that are frequently passed by a karma train and targetable with a catapult from a sneaky spot. The catapult has a knockback and a target limit of 50 people, i think you get my drift….

The zerg I was in this one time was the target of something like that. We were trying to take Stonegaze Spire from the SE (where the bridge is). Someone on the Statuary’s gun kept hitting us repeatedly. We basically wiped. had to give him props, though; that was some very decent aiming he did.
