I have Huntsman and Leatherworking but it seems as i cant get enough material for both, it will cost a lot and take too much time, whats more important leatherworking or huntsman for ranger?. and what crafting profession should i choose as my second? i was thinking jewler but hit me up.

It’s generally cheaper to buy a weapon than it is a full armor set, so I’d say Leatherworker. For your second, Chef is an easy and useful crafting discipline to level. Whatever you choose, you might want to consider the Crafting Starter Sets available from Laurel vendors for 3 Laurels. They’ll give you a bunch of materials to get you on your way.

Edit: If you want to do both Huntsman and Leatherworker, logging is a simple task and raw leather pieces are generally very cheap to purchase from the Trading Post. The only materials that will cost you are the fine materials, and to a much lesser extent, the cloth scraps.
