I’ve been doing jumping puzzles and even WvW, neither of which is my usual thing, in order to acquire Empyrean Fragments and Dragonite Ore. At this rate, to meet the high requirements (500 of each for 5 Empyrean Stars and 5 Dragonite Ingots) it’s going to take me forever.

Are the rewards for these better in fractals and dungeons? Are there events besides Scarlet invasions that reward them in better quantities? I want to acquire these at a faster pace.

20 Empyrean per dungeon path, 17-25 (?) Dragonite per major boss (jormag/teq/shatterer, others).

Thank you. I’ve been fighting bosses and it’s good to know dungeons are awarding these mats in decent quantities.

Also Temple Events & Karka Queen give you 30 dragonite ore.

Temples and Bosses are where I’m getting most of my dragonite. A few days of those is enough to make enough bars for one ascended item.

Looks like the only way to really get shards quickly is dungeons though, unless you like running all over for various puzzle and landscape quests.

You mean shards. And yes, but the alts have to be level 80.

Don’t forget you have to salvage lots of exotics for darkmatter. I spent karma on a few exotic weapons and didnt get any, this process is a joke.
