Today? 40 gold but usually its closer to 3 gold a day throwing short bows into the forge… Sigh. Its only been 2 months of this precursor Mystic forge crap, wonder how many more I will have to throw in…

i Always put all Yellow weapons i drop in forge (8-16 per day) and i buy some also…
never got a decent skin or a precursor…

GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
lv80 with skills fully unlocked, warrior, elementalist and engineer
lv80 Necromancer, all professional skills unlocked, working on the final norn elite skills.
Well over 100g (i’ll leave it at that)…..was on this kick at one point where I was throwing named exo’s in there left and right due to dev post saying they had highest % chance. Only thing I can tell ya is they have a really good chance of not coming back named.
Also, to the guy asking if it would be legendary if everyone had one? If everyone had a precursor? Yeah. There’s still an kitten left to do after that.

Somewhere in the 200-250g range trying to get The Legend. I didn’t keep track too carefully because I knew that would only make the despair greater.
I really think the mystic forge is the worst thing ANet has ever done in either GW1 or GW2. For the several weeks I was dumping rares and exotics into it, playing the game was nothing but continual disappointment. Now, grinding out 500g+ to buy The Legend off the TP seems like a joy in comparison.
I played FFXI 2001-2010 a “Legendary” weapon back then took you around 2-3 years to make(Before Dynamis Revamp & Abyssea) you just had to work hard at it do the events twice a week and save, save save save.
I find it annoying that these so called Legendary weapons have Luck attached to them, so many people stuck on the Precursor and i guess i understand why people would rather get it by crafting it then by just Buying it, that alone should get a special tittle or something because anyone can dish out Gem money and get the precursor but it takes a different kind of player to try your luck for that extra cred…
And being able to sell precursors makes even less sense if you dont want to cultivate Bots and a Gold Buying community imo….

Starting at 0g you can have 100g in a week. Lets say you dont focus on money afterwards and only get 10g dayly and make exra 33% every week in the TP. Now: what do you have after 6 months of playing?

I run AC 1 2 3 and COF 1 and 2 everyday. These 2 dungeons I make sure to run daily, then I go do some more dungeons if I can after but I can’t manage to make that much gold that fast..

I run AC 1 2 3 and COF 1 and 2 everyday. These 2 dungeons I make sure to run daily, then I go do some more dungeons if I can after but I can’t manage to make that much gold that fast..
Yeah I run those too and 2 paths in TA, sometimes HotW and there’s no way I can make 100g in a week. I call BS on that one lol.

I can’t even pretend to get my head around your backwards logic. I keep trying to formulate some sense out of it and come up with nothing. If I am running the same stuff as you claim to be (and I usually spend more than just 3 hours a day doing dungeons) and occasionally more and can’t make half of what you claim…you know what you’re right dude. You are pro. Gratz on your 100g a week, now go fix our economy with your abundant wealth :-P
Put 1000 Great Swords in today hoping to get my dusk. Got nothing out and lost over 300g.

It was their quick solution to regulating the economy—have items magically disappear for very little in return. Otherwise T5/T6 mats, etc. would be so inexpensive and worthless.
…Then that backfired. Would be an awesome game mechanic if there were set recipes for everything… not just everything but the Precursors. But then again there were set recipes for them a while ago that were nerfed. If they hadn’t nerfed them, how much different would the economy be?!
As for what I’ve lost, I’m standing in the range of 250g with no end in sight. Let’s see how much more I can gamble away! (I hate gambling. But they literally leave me no option…)

I don’t sell precursors. I just bought mine when I was ready for it. You people are so dumb to sit there and throw 300g away into the Mystic Forge. Hell at the rate you made 300g you would have your legendary in just a couple more months if you would just buy it.
