Black Lion Mining Pick
Same thing for me, I think it has something to do with the pick coming as a reward in early levels. Too bad I was saving it up for higher tier since there didn’t read anything of it only working for lowgrade ore.
your reaction time must be worse than mine, I usually stop after the 2nd ruined component! :P
The master mining picks (and etc.) are of a random level – I’ve had one which could only mine up to Gold, and one which could mine Orichalcum. Afaik there’s no way to tell except by trying.
Hah…I can empathize as I tried this too. Fortunately I stopped it after the first ruined chunk. It was very frustrating as it was my first orichalcum ever. And unfortunately they give no clue as to what tier they are for. So I ended up tossing it, as the orichalcum picks were what, 6-8 silver, and that’s what two orichal went for. Definitely not worth risking it fizzling on me again. Same with the Black Lion items.
