Known issue or do the cooking gods just hate me?

Now the Tarragon I just bought isn’t showing up.

Is it an issue with too many ingredients in my bank or something? I have 84 types, but only 67 are showing.

Not all materials have something to be discovered. Check your recipe list, some are added automatically … and may include one of those two ingredients.

im pretty sure fancy tangy sautee mix comes up in the recipe list by default when you reach the level requirement. also like above said, you may have already discovered all things related to a certain ingredient. (in this instance, tarragon)

I remember that one and several like it. It doesn’t have any discovery recipes. You will eventually, if not already, be granted the recipes you need that item for when you reach the appropriate level. Once you’ve discovered everything you can from an item it disappears from discovery.

I just double checked (I love the search filter on recipes). There is one item you can make with the Fancy Tangy Sautee Mix. I’m 400 and have all possible discovery done (a few more to buy around the world). Best of luck to you

I’m looking at a list of recipes that use Tarragon, but can’t discover any of them because the ingredient isn’t listed anymore.

Usually, almost every item have several recipes of different level that can be discovered. When you discover all low level recipes of that item, it will turn red in your Discovery tab. That means you need to level up your cooking. When you do that, item will be available again. When you discover all recipes of that item, it won`t show up in your Discovery tab anymore.
I`m lvl 400 in cooking and I discovered ALL recipes of ALL items. Now, I have all maths in bank/collectibles, but when I click on Discovery tab, it`s completely empty, because there are no more recipes to discover, obviously

The tarragon recipe are likely not discovery if tarragon isn’t showing up in your discovery. More likely they’re auto or unlocked recipes (from heart NPCs or event vendors).
