30 Kale Leaves and 20 Head of Garlic to create this…
yeah… I was a bit surprised to see I needed that much.
I could only gather 7 Kale Leaves north Ebonhawke so, it’s pretty rare.
Is it planned to balance some recipes?
Do you check gw2spidy to see how those foods are balanced compared to others? (Rare Veggie Pizza in this case)
This one is kinda useless compared to the pizza.

Wrong. If new food recipes are going to be added to the game and chefs are going to want to get their crafting level to 500, I’d kitten well be worried if this recipe was indicative of what’s to come.

Ain’t that one of MF recipies? They all have 1 hour duration instead of usual 30 minutes, but the amount of materials to craft them is so high that there is little sense to actually craft them.

Other recipie that was introduced in MF was potent oil/sharpening stone/crystal that had 1 hour duration instead of 30 minutes and mere 20% extra “crafting price”.

It’s the same as the Rare Veggie Pizza (cond damage, +40% cond duration), except the buff lasts one hour. But the pizza costs 8s on the AH, while the Sautee costs 64s (certainly due to the price of the Kale Leaf).

The Kale Leaf seems pretty rare, and 30 of them in this recipe is just pointless.

What I meant was, does he have that specific recipe. It was only available from that one dungeon and it was account bound. So if he doesn’t have it, unless they re-release it its not available to him to craft and no point in trying to gather ingredients for it.

30 kale leaves isn’t very much, it wilts down to like 1/16th its size, and with regards to the garlic, its clear you never dated an Italian.

I think the point is that other Kale recipes use only 1 leaf and that much Garlic IS crazy (like ward off every Vampire and Female on the planet, crazy). At the very least the recipe should generate 3-5 bowls of this stuff….not just 1.
