Box of Vigorous Splint Armor
Since the material needed to craft boxes of armor is not something you usually carry around, these recipes are often left unlearned.
The level 150 armor boxes (as far as I know) consist of 10 crafting vendor purchased Spools of Cotton, 13 Bolts of Cotton, 17 STEEL Ingots and 20 (I think) of a certain crafting material (Totems, Claws, Bones, etc).
EDIT: I realize now that I did not answer your question. I was always under the impression that it is via discovery. You say it does not work?

No it doesn’t but it was the same ingredients if you make every armor part alone. So I made the lvl 40 armor without the box. But thanks for you help:)
Fantastic! Haha you are welcome, not really help but let’s call it an effort! :P
The recipe for all “bulk” crafts (i.e. boxes of armor trays of cookies etc) are learned through mystic forge usage. Dig some wiki for details.
Anyway its not worth it and currently you will spend more mats by crafting box of armor then by crafting individual items separately. IDK why they put such recipes in game at all.
400/400 weapon/armor smith
It makes sense since the box that holds them should cost mats, too. ;p
But seriously, you probably don’t even require the craft to make them. I could be a warrior or guardian and not take up armorsmithing and buy the mats on the TP. Though, it would be cool if you could put them all back into the box…
Thanks everyone!
It has helped me be a better crafter:)

The box shouldnt cost THAT much more. I could buy that explination if it cost an extra chunk or two of metal/wood or whatever but it takes 2 more insignia than if you crafted them individualy and the insignia are a rather significant percentage of the cost for any given piece of armor.
