Hello, yesterday i got 400 cooking and i spent a lot of money to get there, my friend lent me some money too, i was wondering if i could use cooking to make some money
because i need to pay back my friend. If not could you please give me some other guides to help me get the money back, im level 37 necromancer, add me if you need too. Thank you.

Other way that’s faster to pay back your friend.

Go to the Queen’s Pavillion, farm away. You’ll get back more than the 2 gold you put in to craft to 400 in less than a few hours from the mats you get.

Crafting foods below lvl 60 I feel isn’t worth it. A lot of food below lvl 60 is junk, since lvl 60-70 foods, while inferior to lvl 80 foods, are still preferred in usage over lvl 80 due to mat costs. Maybe for those leveling their lowbies would buy and use them, but you’ll need to research and spend time to figure out which of those foods those are.

Since you’re only lvl 37, and don’t have the initial capital to invest in mats (assumption, since you needed the ~2gold to craft to 400), I recommend just go braindead farm the Pavillion.

dyes is like gambling but can pay off if you get some really rare ones, for example white dye which happens more often is around 2G

Yes but really not so much. If you are looking to make gold… cooking is a tough rout. You can buy ingredients and sell food, but chances are 1000 people already thought of that that day so prices are pretty low, so low that ingredients cost more than the dish you are cooking up. If you gather, you may do ok, but often the ingredients bring in more gold than anything you can do with them.

Part of the problem is many people just don’t use it. I’m constantly passing out food to groups just to help keep them alive (regen + vitality stuff), otherwise they run w/o any food buffs. Cooking is very useful to have, but for making gold like the other crafts, don’t get your hopes up there. Even w/o the master crafter title I’d pick it up, just because of it’s usefulness. It may also be needed if you are working on a legendary.
