Time gating is one way to make crafting certain items valuable and allow such items to be sold for a crafter’s profit.

Time gate forever! Selling ascended crafting materials is like the poster above said pretty much the only way to make a profit. They continue to be valuable because new players constantly enter the game, people are outfitting alts, or different stats on main for another build

20s/day is not a profit.
ascended materials shouldn’t even be tradable. either that, or make all parts of it tradable.

Yea there was no profit when the steel ingots and planks dropped off.
