I am going to craft one fore sure, but I am afraid if that is Souldbound.

The amount of time spend on getting a legendary weapon could be thousand of hours (no joke). consider this amount of times, if it is only able to use on one character, it is not a good idea. Because we are not always play on one character.

On the hand, if you change all the materials required to craft legendaries to Account bound, why don’t you do it on the weapon itself as well?

I am certain a lot of future legendaries holders wish the same and hoping to see this change on nearly future.

PS: I am assuming legendaries are soulbound, because nearly everyone say it on the forum.

It would be very nice if they would be account bound. After all each kind of weapon can be used by several classes.

Oh god if they’re not “soulbound” or “soulbound on use”, I’m going to try to make ALL THE LEGENDARIES.

“Everyone” should be able to see that one of the sorting option on the TRADING POST is Legendary items. Seems to me that’d be a bit redundant if Legendary items were soulbound or even account bound…

Legendary items are likely sellable, but might be soulbound on use (or perhaps account bound on use, if such a thing exists).

@ShadowbaneX – That is not a valid way to judge the matter. One of the sorting options on the Trading Post is for tools. The only items that the trading post categorizes like that are salvage kits – all of which are account bound. The trading post will also happily let you search for other account-bound items. Legendaries being on the trading post means nothing in and of itself.

That said, it’ll be interesting to see how they decided to handle the matter.

I hope they are not tradeable, it would ruin legendaries.

Well, we now know they are soulbound… Expected as much, but still disappointing.
If I ever actually get one, it’d be the ponybow, and since my Ranger is my main, it looks like my Thief alt isn’t going to get to play with it (though it suits her better). :-(

I made The Dreamer a few hours ago, it is trade-able and soulbound on use. WTS The Dreamer 3000g

They’re currently not account bound, but they are Soulbound on Use as seen on this screenshot:

That means you could craft it on one character but later bind it to an alt if it doesn’t suit your main. This also means that you could potentially sell it to someone on the Trading Post. For how much? Who knows!

^Wow, realistically who would ever buy them for jacked up prices? It would probs be cheaper to make it, if any do ever go up on auction.

I do hope they make legendaries account bound though. That would be innovation.

“Everyone” is making a lot of assumptions about Legendaries. Assumptions based on pure conjecture. “Everyone” is not always correct :P

But this time, everyone is correct
and Soulbound on use….does it mean we can buy it with real money?

@Ari Kagura.9182: Horrible. Legendaries shouldnt be sellable, after all their ingredients are mostly account bound, too.

@shadowbane they have karma bags for ingredients but they are soulbound, so it might be the same thing.

They are soul bound on use. Saw sunrise for myself earlier, right before the guy equipped it.
