• 1x Silver Chain;
• 1x Silver Setting
• 3x Embellished Intricate Sunstone Jewel
• 50x Piece of Candy Corn

To craft a Sunstone Silver Pendant you need:

• 1x Silver Chain;
• 1x Silver Setting
• 1x Intricate Sunstone Jewel

To craft a Embellished Intricate Sunstone Jewel you need:

• 5x Sunstone Nugget
• 1x Silver Filigree

To craft a Intricate Sunstone Jewel you need:

• 1x Sunstone Nugget
• 1x Silver Filigree

The results are the same with the exception that Candy Corn Silver Pendant has an empty upgrade slot, while Sunstone Silver Pendant has a Intricate Sunstone Jewel.

So to get the exact same result as the Sunstone Silver Pendant you need to waste 2x Silver Filigree, 14x Sunstone Nuggets and 50x Piece of Candy Corn, 231 karma to unlock the recipe for Embellished Intricate Sunstone Jewel(recipe cannot be found in the Discovery panel) and 1 extra Sunstone Nugget and a Silver Filigree to craft the Intricate Sunstone Jewel which you will have to attach to the Candy Corn pendant after crafting.

Shouldn’t we get a better result after spending more materials?

This is a great summary of why there are so many candy corn on the market. This item should have been the same, or slightly worse than a regular item and not required the 3 refined gems.

Basically the corn should have subbed in for something and the stats adjusted accordingly.
