The price of precursor legendary weapons continue to sky rocket every 24 hours. With the price of a Dawn now hitting 450 gold. No matter how I change farming regime each day I cannot keep up. The inflation rate on these items is extreme.
Either gold farmers are making a lot of money from their cheap gold prices, or Anet is doing well with all of the people buying gems and converting them to gold.
Either way, 450 gold is worth over $2000 USD in gems! Like seriously. Do people actually pay that much for a digital item that could be hacked or destroyed in an instant?
Most likely once the entire Legendary rush (spawned by it happening last week) ends, the prices will go down. Right now there is a much larger demand than the supply, however that will change given a few weeks. This is primarily due to the fact that people have gotten legendaries, and now everyone wishes to make one.
